Critics' Verdict

Haq is a powerful and sensitively handled courtroom drama, anchored by Yami Gautam’s outstanding performance. Its restrained storytelling and emotionally charged fight for justice earned considerable critical acclaim, but that praise failed to translate into theatrical success, leaving the film a notable box office disappointment.
