Bollywood.com and Bollywood.net are California, USA based digital media platforms covering Bollywood – India’s popular, vast and vibrant Hindi film industry.

Our goal is to make it easy for Bollywood movie fans around the world to discover what is coming to theatres and streaming, see what critics think, follow box office performance and keep up with the latest Bollywood news.

We publish Bollywood content from trusted Indian news agencies such as ANI News and Indo-Asian News Service and aggregate news from more than 20 trusted Bollywood news websites.

CORE TEAM

Bollywood.com and Bollywood.net were founded in 1996 by a small team led by Dr. K. C. Varshney. The core team later expanded to include his son and an extended team in India. Our registered office is in California, United States of America.

HOW THE MASTSCORE WORKS

The MastScore is our 0-100 rating, shown on every Bollywood movie page, showing what critics thought of a movie.

For each movie we collect reviews from leading Bollywood movie critics, recording both the rating they gave and whether their verdict was Positive, Mixed, or Negative. The score combines the two – how good critics said the movie was, and how many of them actually recommended it.

Early scores are held back until enough reviews are in, and movies with fewer than four reviews don’t get a MastScore yet. Box office collections do not affect the MastScore. We keep optimizing this score as we add more movies and critics.
