Critics' Verdict

Critics are mixed on Haiwaan. Saif Ali Khan earns praise for his performance, while Akshay Kumar has some effective moments as the villain, but critics say the slow pace, long runtime, weak suspense and crowded screenplay hold the film back. Most reviewers feel the film never becomes the gripping thriller its strong cast and promising story suggest.
