Critics agreed that Baadshaho has stylish visuals, punchy dialogue, from Emraan Hashmi and Sanjay Mishra, while Ajay Devgn's screen presence also earned praise. The main complaints were a thin and predictable heist story, dated macho writing, weak female characters, poor logic, a stretched second half and an abrupt climax.
