Critics' Verdict

Critics agreed that inflated electricity bills and unreliable power supply are important subjects worth addressing. Shahid Kapoor was praised, while Divyendu Sharma and parts of the supporting cast also received appreciation. The biggest complaints were the long running time, weak direction, too much focus on the love triangle and comedy, and a courtroom section that often distracted from the serious issue.
