Critics' Verdict

Critics agreed that Vicky Kaushal is the film’s strongest element, with his comic timing, energy and chemistry with Ammy Virk repeatedly elevating the material. The common criticisms were the predictable screenplay, rushed relationships, inconsistent jokes, stretched second half and abrupt shift into melodrama.
