Critics' Verdict

Zero earns praise for Shah Rukh Khan's energetic performance, its ambitious idea and a strong first half, but critics largely feel the story loses its way after the interval with confused writing, and a weak logic second half. Despite a big opening and considerable star power, poor word of mouth hurt its theatrical run.
