Critics' Verdict

Critics are divided on Chand Mera Dil, but most agree that the film has a sincere, emotionally mature take on modern romance, helped by Lakshya and Ananya Panday’s chemistry, strong music and glossy execution. The praise is balanced by repeated complaints about weak or uneven writing, stretched runtime, melodrama and a second half that doesn’t always hold together. Overall, it emerges as a flawed but heartfelt Gen-Z love story that works best when it keeps the focus on its lead pair’s emotional journey.
