Critics' Verdict

Badhaai Ho wins critics over with its warm humour, clever writing and excellent performances, particularly from Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao and Surekha Sikri. A few reviewers feel the film loses some momentum in the second half. Strong word of mouth also turned it into a major box office success.
