Critics' Verdict

Manmarziyaan received mostly positive reviews, especially for Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Abhishek Bachchan, Amit Trivedi's music and Anurag Kashyap's modern approach to relationships. Critics liked the film's characters and emotional honesty, but several felt the repeated romantic conflict and predictable destination weakened the overall impact.
