Critics' Verdict

Jan Neta is carried by Vijay’s charisma, action and emotional bond with Mamitha Baiju. However, most critics found the three hour screenplay bloated and uneven, with excessive political speeches, weak VFX, an ineffective villain and a disappointing second half diminishing Vijay's cinematic farewell.
