Gadar 2 follows Tara Singh, who returns to Pakistan during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 to rescue his son, Charanjeet "Jeete" Singh, from a villainous Pakistani general. The film is a sequel to the 2001 hit Gadar: Ek Prem Katha and features themes of patriotism and family.
