Critics' Verdict

Critics agreed that Jolly LLB 2 succeeds through Akshay Kumar's performance, Saurabh Shukla's scene stealing judge, a strong supporting cast, sharp humour and an engaging look at flaws in the justice system. The main criticism was that the sequel is less fresh than the original and becomes more melodramatic, and preachy.
