Critics' Verdict

Race 3 was heavily criticised for its weak story, poor dialogue, lack of suspense and over the top action, with even Salman Khan's star power unable to win most critics over. Despite that, the film opened huge over Eid and became a major commercial success.

Meena Iyer finds the film ridiculous and almost completely lacking a script, but also sees its over the top silliness as a light hearted stressbuster if taken in the right spirit.

A poorly directed Salman Khan showcase with a ridiculous plot, weak acting and little logic. The review calls it one of the star's lowest points.

Good action and cinematography cannot hide the poor story, lazy editing and forced songs. The film is not completely unwatchable, but it is a major disappointment.

The film delivers flashy action, Salman Khan's star power and some entertaining moments, but weak writing and an overcomplicated story stop it from becoming a strong thriller.

The film is high on style but low on substance. Salman and Anil Kapoor provide some relief, but the wafer thin story and weak direction make it disappointing overall.
