Critics' Verdict

Housefull 4 received mostly negative reviews. Critics commonly praised Akshay Kumar's comic timing, but most found the writing weak, the jokes stale or crude, and the story tiring and confusing. The poor reviews did not hurt its commercial run much, and the film became a major box office success.
