We are in the golden era of cinema: Ayushmann Khurrana


Visiting the national capital on Friday for an event, actor-singer Ayushmann Khurrana has said that we are living in the golden era of Indian cinema where all kinds of movies are working and thanked his fans for accepting him as a performer.
Speaking to HT after the event, Ayushmann said, "We are in the golden era of cinema where every kind of cinema is working and just bless me with loads of wishes. Thanks to you guys (fans, audience) for accepting me as a performer." The actor added that he may sound phony but now that he is part of the entertainment industry he needs love and wishes of the audience.
Ayushmann Khurrana joined singer Jaspinder Narula in Delhi to launch a radio show to be hosted by actor-singer Annu Kapoor. The show Suhaana Safar with Annu Kapoor goes on air from June 24. The show aspires to bring yesteryear's' cinema closer to today's listeners. Annu Kapoor shall share anecdotes from Indian cinema apart from playing old classics on his show.
Speaking at the launch, Annu Kapoor said, "I would like to share my experience with my audience through the tremendous heritage of melodious music from 1955 to 1985. I want to tell untold stories and trivia which I learnt while working with and interacting with great directors and producers throughout my career of 31 years."
