NEW DELHI, Aug. 2 -- Mohit Raina has always spoken about doing his bit for society. The actor, who played Lord Shiva in the TV show, Devon Ke Dev... Mahadev, recently shot for Government of India's project Namami Gange for two days.

"It's a great initiative and Mohit is elated to be associated with it. He has been supporting the Clean Ganga Project for years. He is happy that he was invited by the Government of India to shoot a video on the fouryear completion of the Namami Gange initiative," says a source.

Mohit, who is currently busy with his Bollywood film Uri, has been associated with the Clean Ganga Project since 2013. He had earlier visited Rishikesh and Haridwar to create awareness around the project. In the video, he will be seen requesting people to save the Ganges by keeping it clean and not misusing the water so that the coming generation doesn't suffer.

Coming back to Uri that also stars Vicky Kaushal, Yami Gautam and Kirti Kulhari, Mohit is said to have bonded well with his co-stars. Also, even with a hectic film schedule, he's making sure he doesn't compromise on fitness, and is gymming regularly.
