Trilogy for Ranbir?

Mumbai, June 10 -- Reports have suggested that upcoming Ranbir Kapoor starrer Bombay Velvet (BV) is to be "a trilogy about Bombay before it became a metropolis". But ask director Anurag Kashyap about it and he says that a lot will depend on how part one performs. Interestingly, the film is yet to go on floors (it's likely to start in July).
"It's true that BV is just one film (from the trilogy). But first, let's see how it does. Only then we will take a call on the other two parts. Anyway, it's too early to talk about it. Right now, I am only concentrating on the first film," says the Gangs of Wasseypur series (2012) director.
The period film is set in Mumbai in the era spanning between the '50s and '70s, and the trilogy apparently showcases how the city became a metropolis.
"Anyway, how many films am I supposed to be doing at one time? Am I some sort of a superhuman that I will handle so many movies at one go?" says Anurag, who is rumoured to be working with Shah Rukh Khan in a forthcoming venture as well (he reportedly even visited SRK at his home as the star recuperates after his shoulder surgery). Reports are rife that the Dev.D (2009) maker is set to work with Amitabh Bachchan too in a yet-untitled venture.
Besides BV, Kashyap is busy with his next directorial venture, Ugly. He has also partnered with Bachchan to direct a TV series and is also expected to start work on his long-planned sci-fi superhero film based on the Raj Comics character, Doga
