NEW DELHI, Nov. 1 -- A day after she gave Delhi its biggest pop performance so far, 25-year-old international sensation Lady Gaga tweeted a picture of herself with Bollywood stars Arjun Rampal and Shah Rukh Khan, and wrote, "Sc**w Hollywood. It's all about Bollywood."
Obviously, for her Formula One after-party performance at LAP Buddh Circuit lounge at Jaypee Greens in Greater Noida the previous night was cheered on by over 1,000 fans, including the likes of star biggies such as Preity Zinta, Sussanne Roshan, Sonam Kapoor and her father Anil Kapoor, Sidhartha Mallya, Deepika Padukone, Imran Khan, Vijay Mallya, Bipasha Basu, VJ Rannvijay, and cricketers Yuvraj Singh and Ashish Nehra.
Media barons, industrialists, political bigwigs... everyone who was anyone was there, apart from fans who had paid R40,000 for a ticket. The singer, who wore a short gold and Swarovskiencrusted body suit designed by Tarun Tahiliani, included some sitar fusion in her act and performed hits from her latest album, Born This Way.
Her single 'Judas' received the loudest cheer. "I love India and all my little monsters here. I want to thank (party host) Arjun for bringing me here," she said at the bash, which followed the race finale that saw Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel walking away with the first Indian Grand Prix trophy.
She ended her performance with a warm "Namaste India," before Romanian music star Edward Maya took over to belt out some hipshakers.
