Rare ghazal treat!

Mumbai, Sept. 23 -- Ghazal legends Jagjit Singh and Ghulam Ali will share the stage for the Unplugged concert, to be held today.
The maestros will perform ghazals in Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi ghazals. Jagjit Singh's deep resonating vocals combined with and Ghulam Ali's raga-based style of ghazal will aim to offer listeners a rare treat.
Says Jagjit Singh, "Performing on the same stage with a stage with a legend like Ghulam Ali is an overwhelming feeling all together. I'm thankful to the organisers for their efforts in bringing us together on such a prestigious platform." The duo recently performed for the first time in the Delhi edition of the Unplugged series. Ask Pakistani ghazal singer Ghulam Ali how he feels about performing in India and he says, "Performing in India is always special. I hardly see any difference in the people. We are brothers across borders, who both love and appreciate true music. I hope the concert at Mumbai is just as entrancing as the one in Delhi."
