Mumbai, Aug. 14 -- The makers of Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Eros International and Colour Yellow Productions, recently launched the new song, 'Kanha', that captures the spirit of Janmashtami in the film directed by R S Prasanna.

A source says, "'Kanha' is a quintessential love ballad that sets the tone for Mudit (Ayushmann Khurrana) and Sugandha's (Bhumi Pednekar) middleclass romance amidst the hustle-bustle and by-lanes of Delhi. It showcases the affable chemistry between Ayushmann and Bhumi, as they portray a couple about to get married and 'Kanha' portrays the first brush of love and how they warm up to each other's presence in their life."

Tanishk Bagchi, the composer, says,"'Kanha' is a song based on a mishran raag, bhimpalashree, that teases and touches some of the best memories each one of us has had as a couple. The bitter-sweet nokjhok, the masti is all conveyed with an appealing melody. The song will keep us all forever youthful. I enjoyed living through this song while composing it."

Composed and penned by Tanishk-Vayu, 'Kanha' was shot across real locations in Delhi, including Garden of Five Senses and Ugrasen Ki Baoli, the DTC buses, etc.
