Overall, The songs are good, but not great. You are mostly not going to remember them, except the tanki funky monkey song! Overall the album is not strong enough for fresh actors and a charred concept.

A very dull music album. Not what’s expected from a Varun Dhawan movie, which has been much awaited by all the girls. The songs are anything but fresh, and heavily influenced by the David Dhawan tadka.

The music album, including the videos, drips and drools of wannabe-ness. There is too much of expensive sun shades, fancy clothes and hip-hop/street dance, and it doesn’t make me want to go ahead and watch the movie, at all.

Different from the usual, stale love songs, sad songs, and party songs. A.R. Rahman definitely knows how to make his album different and lovely to the ear, whether they are offbeat songs or just the regular romantic, cute or sad melodies!

Kaanchi is a romantic story of, well, “the unbreakable” girl called Kaanchi, who represents the inner strength of a woman. The story represents the many suppressed youth, especially women, against power and injustice in the country.

The album is just another youth movie attempt that is honestly quite boring and overdone. Wouldn’t listen to it again, ever, expect maybe “Yeh Beetey Din”.

To sum up, this is a very “dhinchak” album, with some retro music, some action in the background, and a powerful protagonist – Kangana Ranaut.

A complete Himesh Reshammiya album, as usual. And he has overshadowed Yo Yo Honey Singh as well!

An okay album, with one or two good tracks. The videos are disturbing, so you’ll probably only like the songs till you see them on TV.

The music album is not as powerful enough as the movie demands. It is nothing close to music albums of other inspiring movies.

The entire album is an overload of pain, sadness, torture, crying, and hating life. Yes.

The album is a good mix of romantic songs, party songs, and one very untraditionally sad song. Pritam’s music is always something special and nice, and singers like Arijit and Mika have made the album rocking.
