Starring two of the most promising young actors, Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra, Hasee Toh Phasee is a romantic comedy. Directed by Vinil Mathew and produced by Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap, this cannot get any better! The movie is set to release on 7th February 2014, having all the rom-com lovers drooling while waiting. The movie has 6 super-sexy tracks, thanks to the music duo Vishal-Shekhar.

Punjabi Wedding Song

Well, that’s everything that the song is about. It’s the Punjabi Wedding Song, with the bhangra, dhols, the kangna shanga and aunties with 3G VG on their phones. This wedding party number is in Pinglish (Punjabi English), sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and Benny Dayal. So if you love the Punjabis, or you are a Punjabi, you are going to rock this song at every chance you get!

Shake It Like Shammi

The second track is also a party song, this time with an old-school Shammi rock! It’s about dancing like the famous and frisky Shammi Kapoor! The song is so peppy and youthful, it actually uses words like “yippie” and “gippy”, along with the signature-Shammi “ha ha ha”. Great music, great lyrics, and great voices (Vishal Dadlani and Benny Dayal) – let’s kick off our shoes and dance!

Drama Queen

Yet another party, dance masti, fun-funatic crazy song. The song sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Vishal Dadlani is about a naughty, almost disastrous, drama-queen – Parineeti Chopra, of course.  The rap verse is not that strong, and the previous two tracks are more enjoyable. This song has a significant resemblance with Chingam Chabake from Gori Tere Pyar Mein.

On a contrasting note from the previous three tracks, Manchala is a melancholic song. There is something soothing about the sad love song. Sung beautifully by Shafqat Amanat Ali and Nupur Pant, this song takes you somewhere away to your own world.

A slow, romantic song sung so wonderfully. Simple beats, calming tune, dreamy lyrics, and the wonderful voices of by Chinmayi Sreepada and Shekhar Ravjiani. The song ends with a few strokes of the guitar. You will listen to this again and again. And if you are not in love, you will fall in love nevertheless.

Ishq Bulaava

The number sung by Sanam Puri and Shipra Goyal starts with traditional Indian beats. There is something very different about this song – something that is, once again, very soothing. This melodious track is going to put you on a rewind-reply mode.

You will not know whether to dance or to fall in love. This album has 3 rocking party tracks and 3 soul-touching romantic numbers, and all 6 songs are unforgettable. The music is peppy and refreshing, brimming with young romance – let’s hope the movie is too!
