New Delhi, Nov. 22 -- Actor Aparshakti Khurana, who was seen playing the role of Omkar, the brother of the Phogat sisters in Nitesh Tiwari's directorial film Dangal (2016), celebrated his birthday on Saturday.
Unlike other celebrities who like to ring in their birthdays with parties, Aparshakti chose to spend his day working and participating in a fitness festival which made him really happy.
As part of the event, he was invited for an hour-long Bhangra session with youngsters and got the crowd grooving with him. The actor shares his experience of being with his fans on the special day.
He says that being with people who shower love on him is the best way to spend the day.
"I love having working birthdays. It was great to be part of the fitness festival. Bhangra is a great form of workout, and fun at the same time," he says.
"It was lovely to experience such high energy levels from the participants. It felt like a big party," says Aparshakti, who turned 30 and will be seen in the sequel of Happy Bhag Jayegi (2016), which stars Sonakshi Sinha and Diana Penty.
He later spent time with his family. "I had a small family dinner for my little birthday celebration," says Aparshakti, who is actor Ayushmann Khurrana's younger brother.
