A Sanjay Leela Bhansali Film and one of the most awaited films this year, this film is based in the real Bajirao, Mastani and Kashibai’s story. The film has Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra in the lead. The film has already stolen hearts with its posters and teasers and trailer. It will hit the screen on 18 December. Till now, we have these amazing tracks to tease us..

1. Deewani Mastani
The first song is based on Mastani, the lover of Bajirao played by Deepika Padukone. It’s a love song sung by Shreya Ghoshal. This one is a little boring.

2. Aayat
In Arijith Singh’s voice, this track is absolutely beautiful! It’s romantic, it’s painful and it stirs your soul. Though it’s extremely slow, it picks up pace in the middle with qawali. Of course, most of the credit goes to Arijith’s voice.

3. Malhari
Malhari is a Vishal Dadlani song that depicts celebration in its best energy! It’s definitely going to make you dance a bit here and there, specially after the first slow songs. Love the Marathi touch to it!

4. Mohe Rang Do Laal
Another love song, with peacocks and sitars, sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Pandit Birju Maharaj. It’s a lovely song, but there’s nothing new about it. We’ve heard pieces like this plenty of times.

5. Albela Sajan
In this number, all the singers – Shashi Suman, Kunal Pandit and Prithvi Gandharva, Kanika Joshi, Rashi Raagga and Geetikka Manjrekar – are singing in chorus. It’s sung very, very well, and has an aarti feel to it. Mostly a Ganesh aarti!

6. Ab Tohe Jane Na Doongi
Oh what a lovely song! A soulful love song that takes you to a different era. The singers are Payal Dev and Shreyas Puranik.

7. Pinga
The famous dance off between Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone, this wa the most looked-forward song of the movie! No doubt, both the actresses look and dance very gracefully. It’s a peppy dance number, with of course the Marathi touch.

8. Aaj Ibadat
Yet another beautiful track in the voices of Javed Bashir, Shadaab Faridi and Altamash Faridi. Can’t get enough of this one! I just want to keep listening to it…

9. Fitoori
A track with a lovely folk touch to it. Sung by Vaishali Made and very high on energy, we love this dance track!

10. Gajanana
The very first song released by the movie! A powerful Ganesh aarti that gives you goosebumps. Sukhwinder has sung this song, and nothing can beat this song in the entire album!

A very long album with 10 very impactful songs! The mood and feel of the songs is as grand as the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film’s sets and attires! They are absolutely classics from a beautiful era that has passed long ago, but has never died.
