Releasing on 30th March, this Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani starrer is a sequel to the action thriller Baaghi.

Now, this one becomes automatically more interesting, since Disha is Tiger’s alleged girlfriend. How true? Don’t know.

What I do know is that the trailer is never-ending, the Disha Patani is a side-prop (or shall we say damsel in distress), and Tiger Shroff – well he’s grown up, hasn’t he? We also have Manoj Bajpayee, Randeep Hooda (woohoo!) and Prateik Babbar in supporting roles.

As for the music album, let’s hope it is slightly more interesting than the trailer.

1. Mundiyan

A very famous and dhamakedaar Punjabi track kicks off the album, and we don’t mind! It’s a refreshing remix of the original “Mundiyan Tu Bachke” by Punjabi MC. The vocals are by Navraj Hans and Palak Muchhal, and all I can say is that I am already grooving! The video is a bit dull, despite all the thumkas and LED stunts. Disha cannot match up to Tiger’s quirky moves and energy, and looks just about ok too, for all that hype.

2. Ek Do Teen

This remake of Madhuri’s iconic number absolutely makes up for the previous track’s rather dull video. Jacqueline takes over and puts the stage on fire! All the thumkas and desi drama is there. Let me make it clear – it does not match up to the original spark of the epic original one, and nothing ever can. But, Jackie’s got her charming ways of making you fall in love with whatever she does. So here she is, looking hot as one can look, and making you sway! Not to forget that she is just a fabulous dancer. The singers are Shreya Ghoshal and Parry G. Oh, and you’ll see a glimpse of Prateik Babbar here too; I almost forgot that face.

3. O Saathi

A romantic track between Tiger and Disha, so naturally all eyes are on their chemistry. It’s a typical college boy falls in love with college girl video, but in a very refreshing way. I like it. As for the track, it’s got a good feel to it. After all, the singer is Atif Aslam.

4. Lo Safar

This is another love song, but with a melancholic touch to it. It’s also much more boring than the previous one. The singer is Jubin Nautiyal. It’s a very average track that brings nothing new.

5. Soniye Dil Nayi

The second last song is a heartbreak song, which is as boring as the last one. In fact, it takes a really long time to figure that this is a remake of the original Soniye Dil Nayi Lagda Tere Bina by Feroz Khan, and that just hurts you! However, you cannot ignore Ankit Tiwari’s beautiful voice. But that’s it. The female singer is Shruti Pathak.

6. Get Ready To Fight Again

The album closes with a “theme”. The vocals are by Pranaay, Jatinder Singh, Siddhart Basrur, Big Dhillon and Anand Bhaskar. Good beats, and an interesting composition.

Overall an average music album. The only interesting about it is Jackie’s number, and Tiger’s really sexy new look.
