The first trailer of the Hindi version of Gurinder Chadha-directed Viceroy’s House is out and has already garnered more than three lakh views within a day.
 
Titled Partition 1947 for the Hindi version and directed by Gurinder Chadha, the music of the film has been composed by AR Rahman.
 
The film’s story seeks British accountability for the humanitarian disaster triggered by the Partition of the subcontinent in 1947.
 
Partition 1947 stars Manish Dayal, Huma Qureshi, Om Puri, Hugh Bonneville, Tanveer Ghani, Denzil Smith and Neeraj Kabi. It tells the story of the final months of the British rule in India.
 
The film will hit theatres on August 18.
