Sushant Singh Rajput (born January 21, 1986) is an Indian film and television actor. In 2013, Rajput made his film debut in Abhishek Kapoor's Kai Po Che!, an adaption of Chetan Bhagat's The 3 Mistakes of My Life. Rajput also received accolades for his dancing skills post his participation in the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4 where he finished second.

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who will play the title role of a young Bengali detective in Dibakar Banerjee's next, is busy preparing for the part. The actor is apparently aiming to lose over eight kilos for the film called Detective Byomkesh Bakshy.

The 27-year-old actor had made his Bollywood debut last year with Kapoor's, Kai Po Che, but now has dropped out of, Fitoor, due to date problems.
