NEW DELHI, June 5 -- After receiving a great response for his play Raju Raja Ram Aur Mein in the US, actor Sharman Joshi is back home. Looking back at the month long tour, the actor says that he is overwhelmed with the love that was showered upon him.

"The tour has been fabulous. Someone complimented [the play] saying how the experience of watching the play was much better than even 3 Idiots (2009). We did not know what to expect as this was our first time. I was pleasantly surprised when the audience said they would like to see more of us. However, I feel a gap is required. We are thinking of touring the country again after two years," says Sharman, who has been a part of films such as Style (2001), Rang De Basanti (2006), and Ferrari Ki Sawaari (2012).

Raju Raja Ram Aur Mein had garnered praises in India as well. There already has been 90 shows all over the country. And, Sharman has already started working on his next play. If things go according to plan, the [next] play is expected to premier in July in Mumbai, before it reaches other cities.

Not keen on divulging details about his future project, he only says, "It's an English farcical play that has been running successfully in West End and Broadway. Rehearsals have already begun and we are trying to up the production value by giving special attention to the set design and costumes. Kedar Shinde, the director of Raju Raja Ram Aur Mein will be directing this play too," he signs off.
