Bollywood stars’ date diaries are going through major rescheduling, thanks to Sachin Tendulkar’s last test match next month. The stars are trying to postpone shoots or take a break to be at Mumbai’s Wankhede stadium to catch the Master Blaster on the cricket crease one last time.

“I would love to attend the match. After all, it is a lifetime opportunity. I am trying to shuffle my schedule accordingly. It is a sad feeling. The ground will miss him,” says actor Sharman Joshi.

Actor Raima Sen says, “I’ve grown up watching Sachin play; I’d love to watch him play his final. I am trying to work out my dates for the match.”

Others from the film industry who will cheer Sachin in the stadium are actors Shahid Kapoor and Varun Dhawan, music composer Anu Malek and filmmaker Sanjay Gupta.

“Shahid has already spoken to people to arrange for tickets from where he can have the best view,” says the actor’s spokesperson. Among the ladies, there’s Mugdha Godse too.

“I am currently travelling for work.  However, I am trying to work things such that I am back in the city by then,” she says.

Actors who can’t make it to the stadium have big plans for the test, starting November 14. Actor Siddharth Malhotra says,

“Unfortunately, I will be out of town, in the midst of a shooting schedule. But I won’t miss the match.” Actor Dino Morea, too, says, “I am trying to figure out if I can watch it live. If that doesn’t work out, it’ll be on TV with friends.” Tendulkar announced his retirement from the sport earlier this month.
