New Delhi, Oct. 23 -- Actor Sanjay Dutt made a comeback after a hiatus of four years with the film Bhoomi, featuring Aditi Rao Hydari as his onscreen daughter.

"It was amazing to come back on a film set after so long. This is something I totally love and the best part was that I played my age," says Dutt, before adding, "I see myself doing films for many, many years now. I wish I could work in the industry till my last breath."

Dutt, who has been paired with several leading ladies in the past - right from Madhuri Dixit, Sridevi, and Urmila Matondkar to Vidya Balan - isn't very keen to romance younger female actors. Why?

"I feel awkward and uncomfortable. I can't do what I did 20 years ago. I'm 50 plus now. Though I'm not against those [actors] who are doing that kind of cinema, but I don't want to do it. I want to play my age on-screen," he explains. However, he is quick to add, "But that doesn't mean I am not open to working with younger stars. The film has to make sense. There has to be some reason for a love story, if there is one. Also, I hope to work with some new directors, as they are doing brilliant work."

Dutt feels more inclined towards performance-driven roles. "I want to be like [Oscar-winning Hollywood actors] Denzel Washington or Liam Neeson. I will choose entertaining scripts," he says.
