Mumbai, Jan. 28 -- It's the sign of a healthy industry, where films constantly find themselves jostling for release dates. So, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn's respective films - Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, and Action Jackson - have both shifted from May 1 to June 6 (that, in turn, was vacated by Aamir Khan's P.K., which will now release on the Christmas weekend).

And while Akshay and Ajay are still set for a clash, Rekha's next, Super Nani (touted as the veteran actor's comeback film), has grabbed the May Day weekend. "Our film primarily targets children, and that's why we were aiming to have a release post-exams. May 1 was ideal. There were two big films also vying for the same release date, but they got pushed, so we didn't want to miss this opportunity," says producer Ashok Thakeria.

The yesteryear diva, who was last seen in the 2010 dud, Sadiyaan, has co-stars like Sharman Joshi, Anupam Kher and Randhir Kapoor in director Indra Kumar's movie. Rekha's film, according to the trade, might still have to fight it out with the Rajeev Khandelwal-starrer, Samrat And Co., and Hansal Mehta's Citylights (an official remake of the indie 2013 British- Fillipino film, Metro Manila; it is UK's official entry to the Oscars). "But the biggest competition might come from Hollywood, as The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is also likely to release on May 1 (in India)," says a trade insider.
