New Delhi, Feb. 20 -- Her on screen roles so far have been fun, energetic and youth oriented but when it comes to donning the grey wig on the silver screen, actor Parineeti Chopra (above) is not ready for it.

"I have just started out in Bollywood and it's very important to play the right age. I don't want to play a character which would age me too much unless it's an 'interesting ageing'. It's great that girls like me, Shraddha Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon are doing good work. We have just started out and we must gradually rise without film choices," says the 27-year-old, who is very happy with having youngsters as her target audience.

The actor has not only been appreciated for her acting skills, but has also worked with good directors and big production houses.

However, the expectation of delivering good work, does not give any kind of jitters to the ever-so-energetic actor.

"It's great that I have this pressure on me. Imagine if people did not have any kind of expectations from me. It's a privileged position to be in. Although my first film - Ladies vs Ricky Bahl (2011) was a popcorn entertainment, but the appreciation that I got was something that I was craving for from the very beginning," says Chopra, who will be seen in the role of singer in her upcoming film, alongside actor Ayushmann Khurrana.

"Sometimes you don't get a role which can prove your acting talent but I have always got all strong roles and am glad that people expect something from me," she adds.
