In director Mohit Suri's latest venture, he is going to promote new independent singers, lyricists and composers along with a music label.

Mohit Suri is on a high considering the positive response to the trailer and songs of his upcoming film, Half Girlfriend, starring Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor.

It’s often been pointed out that filmmaker Mohit Suri’s films have a similar look and feel. Be it Zeher (2005), Kalyug (2005), Murder 2 (2011) or Aashiqui 2 (2013), the emotional quotient is always high in his movies.

Chetan Bhagat and Mohit Suri announced they would make a film on the former’s book, much before its launch.

Mohit Suri will soon start working on his next film, an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's bestseller Half Girlfriend.

In 2005, director Mohit Suri made his debut with the Emraan Hashmi-starrer Zeher. He went on to helm several other hits - Murder 2 (2011), Aashiqui 2 (2013) and Ek Villain (2014).

Director Mohit Suri, whose film starring Vidya Balan, Emraan Hashmi and Rajkumar Rao released recently, is already set to start work on his next.

For film-maker Mohit Suri, there seems to be no respite from imposters, as he seems to be dealing with one all over again.

Last year, reports revealed at Asin was hassled when an impostor started chatting with her friends on Twitter using a fake account created under the actor's name. Now, director Mohit Suri seems to be the latest victim of cyber-crime.

Mohit Suri is revelling in the success of his latest, which had Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead. The director seems to enjoy his angst-driven love stories, saying he doesn't "want to move away from them".
