Mumbai, Oct. 18 -- Manoj Bajpayee has been invited as the chief guest for the fourth edition of the South Asian Film Festival that is being held in Paris, France, today (October 18).
The actor left for the country on October 15. He will be there for a couple of days. Manoj's movie Aligarh (2015) will be showcased at the festival. "Apart from Aligarh, Manoj's other movies such as Gangs of Wasseypur (2012) and short film Taandav, which was released this year, will also be screened at the festival," says a source.
When contacted, Manoj confirmed the news, and said, "I feel honoured to be associated with a festival that focuses on promoting South Asian Cinema. Aligarh is one of those few films that is very close to my heart. I am amazed that the international audiences are also appreciating it. I'm indebted to my director Hansal Mehta and the team, for having faith in me, and encouraging me in my journey to depict the story of Siras Ramchandra."
