Veteran actors Jeetendra and Asha Parekh starrer "Caravan" will be screened at the upcoming Hainan Island International Film Festival (HIIFF) in China.

Veteran actor Jeetendra, who calls himself a “proud son of Punjab”, says Udta Punjab -- a movie co-produced by his home banner Balaji Motion Pictures -- is not intended at defaming the state in any way.

part from making a few appearances on TV shows and at select events, veteran actor Jeetendra has mostly maintained a low profile in the last decade or so.

Over a career spanning three decades, 72-year-old star Jeetendra gave Bollywood some of its biggest hits - Caravan (1971), Parichay (1972), Tohfa (1984) and Himmatwala (1983) among them.
