On the occasion of National Education Day on Sunday, actor Emraan Hashmi stressed upon the need of education saying it was the country's backbone.

Actor Emraan Hashmi has completed shooting for his upcoming film "Cheat India", which focuses on the prevailing education system in the country.

Actor Emraan Hashmi will be seen playing Suryakant Bhande Patil, a detective who has solved 120 child kidnapping cases for free in the upcoming movie "Father's Day".

The film, starring Emraan Hasmi, will be directed by Soumik Sen and is slated for a January, 2019 release.

The genres that Emraan Hashmi is best known for are horror, modern urban drama, and action. The actor now wants to expand the range of his filmography and steer clear of horror for a while.

Emraan Hashmi began his acting career with bold movies such as Murder (2004) and Kalyug (2005), popularising the niche erotica genre in India.

Raaz Reloaded will be the fourth installment of the Raaz franchise and it will surely have Emraan Hashmi in it.
