Mumbai, Oct. 16 -- In the recent past, reports have claimed that Imran Khan had a falling out with producer Ekta Kapoor for the second time while working on a long-awaited Tigmanshu Dhulia film, over cast and remuneration-related issues.

Ekta, then, decided to get Ayushmann Khuranna and Bhumi Pednekar on board for the movie. But the latest buzz is that things haven't worked out with them either.

Now, a source close to the film in question says that Ekta is not interested in the project anymore.

"The same has been conveyed to Tigmanshu. Now, he may or may not make the film with a different studio. But the project doesn't feature in Ekta's production house's slate of releases for 2016-2017. It is a closed chapter."

As of now, Ekta is placing her bets on the Mohammed Azharuddin biopic, starring Emraan Hashmi, and another upcoming film that features Kareena Kapoor Khan, Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
