Mumbai, Dec. 19 -- Deepika Padukone has been busy shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next film of late, but that didn't stop the actor from making a quick trip to her home town, Bangalore, albeit for a special reason.

"Although Deepika has been shooting regularly at night for Padmavati in Mumbai, she made time to visit Bangalore. However, the quick trip wasn't a visit to her home there. She went to IIM Bangalore for an interactive session with the students and the alumni of the institute," says a source.

Apparently, her session at the business school was about the actor's journey so far and the experiences she has had. The source says, "The IIM students were very excited to have Deepika amongst them. In fact, there was a lot of cheering when she delivered her talk. She received a lot of warmth and love, and she couldn't thank the students and professors enough."

Ever since she became an actor, Deepika like going back to Bangalore whenever she gets some time off from her busy schedule. Earlier this year, she visited the city to spend Diwali with her family, and before that, went to her school there to interact with the students.

When contacted, Deepika said, "It was a lot of fun interacting with the IIM Bangalore students. It's always a pleasure to go back to my city. There is so much love and warmth each time I go back."
