Mumbai, Feb. 9 -- In the last few years, Bhushan Kumar has gone from being the owner of a successful music label to becoming a leading film producer in Bollywood.

His production house shot to fame with actor Salman Khan's hit, Ready (2011). Bhushan, then, followed it up with Aashiqui 2 (2013) and Bhoothnath Returns (2014). His latest production is Baby, which features Akshay Kumar.

Talking about how the image of T-Series has changed over the years, he says, "Music is our forte, and we will always concentrate on that. Initially, the perception was that we produced films so that we could make music for them. But then Bhoothnath Returns changed things for us, and Baby has earned us respect, which is priceless. "

In the near future, Bhushan has films lined up with Abhishek Bachchan, Akshay and Ajay Devgn, among other stars. His upcoming production, Roy, stars Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Rampal in lead roles. "In fact, we are also planning the third instalment of Aashiqui," he says.

Ask him if Mohit Suri will direct this part (he helmed Aashiqui 2) too, and he refrains from divulging any details. "It's too early to talk about that, but Bhatt saab (Mahesh Bhatt, who is writing the film) will be narrating the script to me in a few days. I have two more love stories lined up, one of which will be directed by my wife (Divya Khosla Kumar). "

Romance is a genre that Bhushan says he is keen on exploring as a producer. "I don't know why no one is making pure love stories. Those who were known to make such films aren't making them anymore. I saw a vacant area and I'm working on it," says Bhushan.
