Mumbai, April 23 -- Post his recent release, the Irrfan-starrer Blackmail, actor Arunoday Singh will now be seen in a suspense thriller web series.

He has previously dabbled in theatre and films, and now he is willing to try out the digital medium.

He says, "I chose to do the show because the story and genre appealed to me. The medium is entirely secondary to me." He will soon start shooting for the online series.

With a lot of content available online, including a number of fresh shows from India to a variety of international content available, does he think the audience is being spoilt for a choice?

"Digital was not something that everyone understood or watched until a few years back. Not many people were open or understood the idea of watching content on the phone or an app, but I think with the advent of internet, the audience today is exposed to newer content. There is a spark in the Indian content while the international content is an inferno. And, as makers or actors, I feel we should welcome this change and create content that stands out and meets the international standards," says the Main Tera Hero (2014) actor.
