New Delhi, Jan. 2 -- With rumours of actor Malaika Arora demanding '10 crore from Arbaaz Khan, we take a look at the most expensive divorces in Bollywood history.

SAIF ALI KHAN-AMRITA SINGH: DIVORCED IN 2004

ALIMONY: '5 crores Saif's marriage to actor Amrita Singh, who was 12 years elder to him, made waves in 1991 -and so did the divorce 13 years later. Saif accepted her demands of a '5 crore alimony, along with their family bungalow and an allowance of '1 lakh every month till their son Ibrahim Ali Khan turns 18.

HRITHIK ROSHAN-SUSSANNE KHAN: DIVORCED IN 2014

ALIMONY: '400 crores Reasons ranging from Hrithik's affair with actor Barbara Mori, to murmurs about Sussanne's growing closeness with actor Arjun Rampal were said to be reasons behind the split. Sussanne demanded alimony of '400 crores from Hrithik, of which the actor agreed to pay '380 crores.

SANJAY DUTT-RHEA PILLAI: DIVORCED IN 2005

ALIMONY: '8 crores Pillai's extra-marital affair with tennis player Leander Paes is said to be the reason why the couple filed for divorce. Sanjay footed all her shopping and telephone bills even when she was pregnant with Paes' daughter, until the divorce came through. She received '8 crore and a luxury car as divorce settlement.

KARISMA KAPOOR-SUNJAY KAPUR: DIVORCED IN 2016

ALIMONY: '7 crores Rumours about Sunjay and hotelier Vikram Chatwal's estranged wife Priya Chatwal, as well as Karisma not willing to leave Mumbai and live in Delhi with him were reasons attributed to their split. Karisma was reportedly paid an alimony of '7 crores. The monthly interest of '10 lakhs from bonds worth '14 crore that Sunjay had bought in the childrens' names was assigned for their kids.

PRABHU DEVA-RAMLATH: DIVORCED IN 2011

ALIMONY: Property worth ' 25 crores and '10 lakhs. Not many know that ace choreographer and actor Prabhu is divorced. The duo appeared in court for divorce by mutual consent. Prabhu allowed her to retain property worth '25 crores and two cars.
