New Delhi, Feb. 14 -- Filmmaker Anees Bazmee, who worked with producer Firoz Nadiadwala for his film Welcome Back (2015), says that he is still to receive his remuneration for the film.

According to Bazmee, he was to get ' 5 crore, which he negotiated down to ' 2 crore from Nadiadwala and is yet to receive the amount.

"He agreed to give me ' 2 crore, so I thought he would give it to me at that time itself, before the release of the film. But he gave me a cheque which was due after four months, while now he is saying that I have taken the cheque by force. If I had taken the cheque by force, why would I take a post-dated one?" says Bazmee, who approached the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) post this.

However, Nadiadwala came on record to say that he has paid Bazmee his dues, and that Bazmee is trying to manipulate the federation, to which Bazmee added, "The federation has sent them letters, but they didn't do anything. Mera yeh log phone nahi uthate. I tried 2-3 times. This agreement is a tri-party between me, federation and Firoz Bhai." Along with Bazmee, there are others who are yet to get their due, to which Bazmee said that it's now upto the federation to get him as well as others their due.
