New Delhi, Feb. 17 -- From Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra to Sonakshi Sinha, many leading ladies are enjoying their role as producers in their upcoming projects.

Ameesha Patel

Actor Ameesha Patel turned producer with her film Desi Magic. She plays a double role in the film, which has been directed by Mehul Atha. The film will hit screens this year and the actor hopes for a positive response. "The film's teaser got a positive feedback from the industry as well as the audience," she says.

Priyanka Chopra

Actor Priyanka Chopra also turned producer with her film Madamji, which is being directed as well as co-produced by Madhur Bhandarkar. The story of the film revolves around an item girl who becomes a top politician. Priyanka seems to be loving her stint as a producer and says, "I am enjoying the fact that I am going to office and taking decisions as a producer."

Chitrangda Singh

Actor Chitrangda Singh will be producing a sports film soon. The actor has reportedly bought the rights of the life story of hockey wizard Sandeep Singh. Chitrangda has been tight-lipped about the project and the details of the film. The director and the cast is yet to be finalised, however reports suggest that she will not be part of the cast of the film.

Sonakshi Sinha

Actor Sonakshi Sinha is all set to don the producer's hat along with her brothers Luv and Kussh. While there were reports of Sonakshi being indirectly associated with their projects, Kussh posted the news formally on his Twitter page. "Sonakshi, Luv and I are happy to announce the formation of our production company - Kratos Entertainment," he tweeted.

Anushka Sharma

Actor Anushka Sharma is thrilled about her maiden production NH10. The actor says that it was not a planned decision and it was the script of the film, which drove her to produce it. "Becoming a producer was never on my mind. I felt so strongly for this film that I wanted to back it in this way and I wanted to be a part of this film completely," she says.
