The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has issued a six-month non-cooperation directive to actor Alok Nath, who has been accused of rape by writer-director Vinta Nanda.

Actor Alok Nath was on Saturday granted anticipatory bail by a court here on Saturday in an alleged rape case filed by writer-director Vinta Nanda.

With an FIR for rape lodged against actor Alok Nath, writer-director Vinta Nanda says she is "willing to forgive" but "show some remorse, repentance", so she knows he will never violate another woman again.

The Mumbai Police have booked film actor Alok Nath on the charge of rape following a complaint lodged by a woman writer-producer over a month ago, an official said here on Wednesday.

Bollywood actor Alok Nath, who is alleged to have sexually harassed writer-producer Vinta Nanda 19 years ago, was on Tuesday expelled by the Cine And Television Artistes Association (CINTAA).

The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) on Monday said it will issue show cause notices to actor Alok Nath and actor-director Sajid Khan, who have been accused of sexual harassment and violation.

Writer-producer Vinta Nanda on Wednesday filed a police complaint against actor Alok Nath, whom she has accused of sexually violating her 19 years ago.

Writer-producer Vinta Nanda will remain undaunted in her fight against the sexual violation she faced 19 years ago even if defamation suits come her way, her lawyer said on Monday.

The rape allegation against Alok Nath by writer-director Vinta Nanda comes as no surprise to those who were privy to the goings-on during the shooting of the marathon serial "Tara" shown on Zee.

Actress Sandhya Mridul on Wednesday came out in support of writer-producer Vinta Nanda's sexual harassment allegation against actor Alok Nath, sharing her own ordeal with him during the shoot of a telefilm in Kodaikanal.
