Arjun Kapoor: 'Sridevi is a master of her craft'

By Hindustan Times
MUMBAI, Oct. 2 -- Arjun Kapoor is already touted as the next big thing in Bollywood. But when the Ishaqzaade star is not being grilled by scribes to clear the myriad rumours surrounding his films and alleged fights with his contemporaries, he is inevitably questioned about Sridevi, his father Boney Kapoor's second wife.
Although reports suggest that he clams up on the topic, he is full of praise for the veteran actor, who according to him has inspired many. "She is a master of her craft. Be it male or female, she has inspired generations of actors. What she has achieved as an actor is beyond what anyone else has attained. I am sure that her film (English Vinglish) is going to be watched by the entire country. The media, the fans and the industry have always loved her," says the 27year-old actor, who is busy wrapping up Yash Raj Films' Aurangzeb in Delhi in a month-long schedule.
Ask Arjun if he has watched the film already and he says, "Before dad (along with Sridevi) left for Toronto (International Film Festival), I watched the first and second theatrical trailers, and they look really good. I haven't had the chance to watch the songs yet. It looks like a great, fun family film. I am sure it's going to do well. Since the entire nation is waiting for her comeback, I hope the film does well."
After finishing work on Aurangzeb, Arjun will begin shooting for Karan JoharSajid Nadiadwala's 2 States followed by Gunday with Ranveer Singh.
