Katrina Kaif seems to be making the most of her time before getting into holiday mood. On Saturday, the actor flew to Ludhiana in a chartered plane to perform at an event.
"I'm honoured to be part of something organised by the Government of India. I am in Ludhiana for the event," the actor said, confirming the news, on Saturday.
Though she did not divulge any other details about the trip, the actor, apparently, performed to some of her popular songs at the event, which was held at the Guru Nanak Stadium in Ludhiana.
However, she did not dance to her item songs Chikni Chameli and Sheila ki jawaani. "Many ministers and senior police officials were present at the event, so she preferred not to perform to those songs in front of them," says the source, adding, "She took the chartered plane back to Mumbai late that night."
This will probably be Katrina's last performance of the year as she plans on spending the next few weeks, including Christmas, with her friends and family. "For all those people who are asking me what I'm doing on Christmas, I will be taking time out and spending it with my family," says Katrina, who will return to the city now on January 4.
