The serial kisser is no longer interested in steamy scenes. That's probably the reason why he has asked uncle Mahesh Bhatt to water down a sex sequence with Shella Allen in the movie Crook, reports Mumbai Mirror. Emraan is now feeling embarrassed and awkward about this scene and wants his uncle Mahesh Bhatt to water it down.
In the said scene, Emraan makes love to a Shella, and it turned out to be a tad above his comfort level.
It may be recalled that Emraan had refused to shoot a kissing sequence in Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai.
Emraan HashmiEmraan shares with Mumbai Mirror, “Yes. There is a conflict. Bhatt saab and I have different visions on this. I want the erotic skin content [sic] on Crook to be cut down because Crook is not a skin flick. It is much more than an entertainer. It touches the serious issue of racial discrimination with Indians in Australia. I don’t want Crook to be another Murder or Jism. Also if you see my recent film Quatim, it didn’t have any intimate scene but yet the film worked quite well”.
Bhatt however is not convinced. He tells the tabloid, “Emraan’s quest for respectability is completely disconnected from the box office. Today, the audience wants to be gratified and not edified. In Crook, we have a great product, which has the added component of sensuality. I see no reason to water it down.
