Actors getting injured while shooting for stunt scenes in movies is common. But John Abraham will certainly not forget a particular scene in Shootout at Wadala where Anil Kapoor's shooting act almost killed him, reports Mumbai Mirror.
While shooting for the climax scene, Anil Kapoor, who plays cop Isaque Bagwan, shot a blank bullet (minus metallic lead) that was meant to be shot from a minimum distance of 15 feet, from a distance of only 1.5 feet. The gun-effects team was behind the goof-up, according to the tabloid.
"The shot burst into flames as planned, but due to the close range, hit Abraham with higher intensity (almost ten times) than it was supposed to," reports Mirror.
Fortunately, the bullet brushed the left side of John's neck. Due to the impact, the actor fell to his right side.
