We had never separated: Bakhtyaar, Tanaaz

By Hindustan Times

Mumbai, March 31 -- Supposedly, Bigg Boss 3 had ended up straining the relationship of the only married couple on the show. Speculations were that Tanaaz and Bakhtyaar Irani had returned home from the house with their relationship tattered. However, the duo will now be seen on Miley Jab Hum Tum on Star One, paired opposite each other, as detectives. The couple enters the show because the girls, Nupur and Gunjan, want to know who is the father of the kid whom they have landed with. And the boys, Samrat and Mayank, want to know who the mother is. The couple, while working on the assignment, pretend that they don't recognise each other. The Iranis try different ways to get the desired information out. Bakhtyaar says that the offer came along right when they wanted it. "I was being linked to Claudia Ceisla. I don't even know where that came from. People were talking about how strained my relationship with my wife was. This offer to act as a detective couple worked for us, because we knew it would clear the air about us and give us a chance to work together," says Irani.

When asked, why his wife Tanaaz didn't re-enter the house, he explains that she had been asked to step back. "Tanaaz realised her mistake. She didn't understand what I told her inside the house. The picture was clearer when she stepped out. Alhough she was the channel and the production house's favourite for the re-entry, they convinced her that her entry would put me in a spot and I wouldn't be able to play my game. So, she opted to wait for me to come out," he adds. So, is the couple friends with any other inmate from the house? Irani says, "Many of them send me "I am sorry" messages, to which I don't respond. We are in touch with Aditi Gowitrikar and Shamita Shetty. The rest of them don't matter really."
